Welcome! I’m Jan Manzano, a dedicated and passionate chef with over a decade of experience in London’s diverse culinary scene. Starting as a Commis Chef at the age of 17, I cultivated a strong foundation in professional cookery and worked my way up to the role of Sous Chef. I have worked in various diverse kitchen environments, ranging from high-end restaurants, to private members’ establishments, and to more casual settings. Some of the restaurants I’ve worked at include Annabel’s, 5 Hertford Street, The Berkeley, Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, and most recently, Parlour. Along the way, I’ve honed my expertise in menu development, innovative plating, and managing seamless kitchen operations. I thrive under pressure, delivering consistent quality whilst fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.

I have since transitioned out of the traditional kitchen environment and restaurant setting to pursue my goal of being a Private Chef. This shift allows me to focus on providing personalised dining experiences that go beyond what is possible in a busy restaurant. My culinary style blends technical precision with creativity, emphasising fresh, seasonal ingredients and modern techniques. As a Private Chef, I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients, ranging from families seeking intimate, bespoke meals to single individuals craving a tailored culinary experience. From intimate dinners to larger, more extravagant celebrations, my goal is always to craft a unique and memorable culinary journey for each client. I take great pride in curating menus that reflect individual preferences, dietary needs, and the special atmosphere each occasion demands. I enjoy building connections through food, offering not just exceptional flavours but also a warm, professional, and tailored service that makes every dining experience truly special.

Beyond the kitchen, I’m always seeking inspiration from global gastronomy and emerging trends. Qualified in various food certifications, including Food Safety and Allergy Awareness, I ensure not only memorable meals but also a professional and safe dining experience.
